2009 will be a great year for women who network. As the economy tumbles in ways no one imagined, women need to unite, to support, to guide, to share experience and resources, and to find ways to do business with one another. It is imperative that women form valuable business and personal relationships and bonds. There are choices to be made about where money will be spent, and for what? Women influence eighty five cents of every dollar spent and now more than ever, that eighty five cents is crucial.
Researchers tell us that women are very loyal and love to do business with one another. They love the feeling that comes from supporting and encouraging those they care about. If they have a choice to do business with a friend they trust, or a business that means nothing to them, they will choose to do business with those they care about and trust every time. That is why women's networking opportunities are more important than ever. But when women spend their precious time, they need to spend it for more than networking as usual. Women need to seek out, and find places to network that speaks to their heart.
That is why Dawn L. Billings, a relationship and networking expert, and author of over 15 books created a women's networking organization designed specifically to meet the unique needs of women.
"Networking for women should be different than networking for men. It only makes sense, since women's endocrine systems are different than men's," says Billings. As a faculty member of an international training and education company called iLearningGlobal.tv, Billings shares her networking, relationship and parenting expertise around the world. At iLearningGlobal.tv her work is translated into Chinese, Korean, Japanese, and Spanish.
When Dawn was first licensed as a professional counselor, she spent her first five years working only with women who had been raped or abused but had no money for therapy.
"I have always been dedicated to helping women succeed and live the dreams in their hearts, that is why I named my networking company, The Heart Link Network, and our no cost online community for women is named The Heart Alliance.
Because of Dawn's passion for women and children over the last thirty years, she was chosen as one of fifteen "Women of Achievement" in Georgia, and in 2008, Dawn was selected by Oprah Magazine and The White House Project as one of eighty emerging women leaders in the nation.
Dawn continues her dedication to women's success by creating this wonderfully popular women's networking program. The Heart Link Network launched over 100 locations in its first 120 days in 28 states, and has now launched locations in Canada and plans to open locations in Australia very soon. Women around the world are finding each other, and the resources they need, through, and because of, The Heart Link Network. Billings says "We, at The Heart Link Network, are completely committed to benefiting and blessing women in all areas of their lives. We know that when we link the hearts of women, we can change the world."
It definitely looks like 2009 will be a great year for women who network. Check out their web site www.TheHeartLinkNetwork.com and find a location near you, and join their online community for women at www.TheHeartAlliance.com
